We based our narrative on a man who meets a girl at the party which is said to be the best party of the year. He looks at his memories which he manages to put up on to a huge screen and he looks through pictures, documents, and websites and so on till he finds her (this is going to be technically advanced and futuristic) – shown through the perspex furniture that we will be using. This action comes in and out of the video while the rest of the video is at the party.
Within the video we are going to have various rooms set up, all with different visual effects. The band are playing in a performance room and we have various different shot types in that room. Again we are brought back to the man looking through these pictures and then to a new room. We have in total four different main and unique rooms, then a couple of plain rooms around a house plus the man and the screen.
The performance room - Here the band will be performing in a very plain white room, purely to help the band stand out as they will be dressed in quite dark clothing.
UV (Ultra Violet) room - Here there are some dancers covered neatly in patterned glow paint to make the stand out.
The lighting room - It has been given this name due to the fact it has flashing white lights in it. It also is called the dry ice room as the floor is covered by dry ice to give the swirl effect of the smoke. In this room the band occasionally play as well as the dancers, dancing in there.
The mirror room. This room has several different mirrors in it all over the place whether they are on the wall or the floor and is lit up by flashing lights and hopefully lasers beaming of the mirrors.
To make our narrative of the house party clear, we wanted to include various shots in the rooms around the house - we decided to do a bedroom, bathroom and room full of beanbags. The action in all the rooms are fairly similar in terms that there are people chilling out in them, drinking, and general house party behaviour.
